FYI, this isn’t an ad for a great deal on school supplies. It represents the utter chaos of my digital filing system. While I was attempting to straighten things up in my hard drive, I ran across this thing I wrote ten years ago! So, let’s go back in time! 🙂 The morning of November 7, 2014, my husband said, “Two days ago was November 5.” That made 10 years since I’d had my stroke. Almost 10 years since I’d developed dystonia. I’d forgotten what it was like to feel normal. I had no idea anymore how to relax and simply exist. In case you don’t know, dystonia is a movement disorder. Mine caused my left arm and leg muscles to clench constantly. After 10 years of this, my left hand was twisted into knots. I could barely move my fingers, which was particularly bad because I was a writer. This is the story of what happened after I self-published my fiction as e-books and began marketing them like crazy through blogging. I was also using Facebook and Twitter, but I had no idea what I was doing. PS: This is just one small part of the memoirs I hope to write someday. Perhaps I’ll blog them. We’ll see. And, in case you’re wondering what it’s like to have dystonia, it actually gets a mention on a television show here! Michael J. Fox is awesome! By the way, here’s the trailer for a short horror film that On that note, would you consider joining my dystonia fundraising team? It’s hard to describe how You can make a tax-deductible donation through my page. Thank you and good night! 🙂 Just kidding. Be seeing you! 🙂 You're currently a free subscriber to Honest Indie Author.
