Constance Wu says she faced sexual harassment and intimidation from an unnamed producer during her time working on the ABC comedy Fresh Off the Boat. The actress opened up during an appearance at the Atlantic Festival in Washington, D.C., saying she kept quiet for years for fear of sullying the reputation of a groundbreaking show starring Asian Americans. Tracking and Warner Bros. are projecting a $17m opening weekend. But based on advance ticket sales, exhibitors are saying the weekend gross could fall between $20m and $24m (some think even higher). Netflix Releases Previously Unseen 'Squid Game' Clip ►K-drama feast. Netflix’s Tudum global fan event is taking place across the streamer’s many YouTube channels this weekend, and there are plenty of goodies for K-drama fans. Among the many sneak peaks shared by the streamer are exclusive first looks at returning Korean hit series like Hellbound, Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area and Singles Inferno — and a previously unseen clip from the first season of Squid Game. Peacock’s Queer as Folk reimagining will not return for any more episodes after its first season on the streamer. Creator Stephen Dunn announce the news that the series would not continue on social media. Dunn's reimagining followed a group of friends in New Orleans and used a Pulse-like nightclub shooting at a gay bar as a way of exploring how the city’s LGBTQ+ community rebuilds itself. The story.

John Hawkes, Christopher Eccleston, Fiona Shaw, Finn Bennett and Anna Lambe have been added to the roster for the fourth edition of the crime drama anthology, which is currently in pre-production. How Cameron and Landau Remastered 'Avatar' For Rerelease ►"We drive the studio operations team crazy." 'Riverdale' Actor Gets Life in Prison for Killing Mother ►Life sentence. Canadian actor Ryan Grantham, 24, has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of his mother. In March, Grantham pleaded guilty to using a handgun to shoot his 64-year-old mother, Barbara Waite, on March 31, 2020. He had roles in a number of Vancouver-shot TV series and telefilms, including Riverdale, Supernatural and iZombie. The story.
—This is fine. Netflix is on the hunt for a new chief accounting officer after Ken Barker, who had joined the company June 27, tendered his resignation, effective Oct. 7. The streamer said Friday that Barker's resignation was "a personal decision and is not the result of any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s financials, operations, policies, or practice." Louise Fletcher, the sweet actress from Alabama who won an Academy Award for her turn as the heartless Nurse Ratched — one of the most reviled characters in movie history — in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, has died.
