TERRIFIER GETS A FIRST PEEK.
errifier is a 2016 slasher movie that starred Jenna Kanell, Samantha Scaffidi, David Howard Thorton, and Catherine Corcoran. The Hollywood slasher movie gave the audiences another interesting and possibly iconic character, Art the Clown.
Art the Clown is one of the few horror movie characters who have an unknown past. We wonder if the sequel will shed some light on the character and his past.
In the first film, Art the Clown had gone on killing sprees. We have some information about the sequel. including the logline. According to the log, Terrifier 2 has this storyline:
“After being resurrected by a sinister entity, Art returns to Miles County where he must hunt down and destroy a teenage girl and her younger brother on Halloween”
David Thornton played Art the Clown in the first installment. He shall continue playing the role this time around too. Joining him in the cast is Lauren LaVera. Terrifier 2 is set for an October release. But with the current lockdown, its difficult to say whether the movie will be able to keep its date with the theaters and the audiences. Here’s the first look:
Terrifier itself has an interesting story. The character, Art the Clown first made a feature debut in a short film, All Hallow’s Eve, of which Damien Leone was the director. He, later on, he started a crowdfunding campaign that made Terrifier possible. Where the movie goes from here, remains to be seen.
